What is a SaaS product?

Sellf is a Saas (Software as a service) product, a software which is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted. Companies pay a monthly fee instead of purchasing the software. This will cut down the costs of acquisition, management, maintenance, updating and it maximizes the benefits of usage.

How do I use Sellf?

Sellf works seamlessly across all major devices. With your email address, you can access your account everywhere, from your pc at http://app.sellf.io, or you can download our native mobile apps for iOS devices (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) and Android Phones & Tablets. Data will be always in sync, so you can manage your business anytime, anywhere.

Can I import my data from other software?

If you’re migrating your data from another CRM to Sellf, there’s a pretty easy way to get the job done. Login at https://app.sellf.io/settings/data/import/* and upload your data in a single CSV file. Please, read this help article for further info.

How am I billed for licenses?

Sellf will bill your credit card based on the whole number of users in your account. If you add users or perform other upgrades, these will be billed on a pro-rata basis for the remainder of the current billing cycle, and then fully billed at the start of the next cycle.
You will be billed for the total amount of licenses in your account, not only the active users.

Where does Sellf store my data?

We host our servers in market-leading cloud operators and all your data is protected and encrypted via SSL standard. The security of your data is of the highest priority for us. Besides your data is always at hands for managing your business. Every time and everywhere, even when you’re offline (on our apps for iOS devices). Sellf will regularly and automatically back it up on our secure servers, so that you do not need to worry about manual backups. Your data will never be shared. You can choose to export it at any time in a few clicks from our web platform at https://app.sellf.io

Does everyone in my team need to have a payed license?

In order to provide the most seamless experience possible, everyone in your team using Sellf needs to be on the same plan, with a payed license.
For example, if you purchased a Starter Plan but you’d like to take advantage of the features of the Performance Plan, all of the users on your account will need to be upgraded to that plan as well.
When you upgrade your subscription, the payment system takes automatically into account your payment history, applying a pro-rata, this means you’ll be charged for the cost of the Performance Plan, minus what you’ve already payed with your current subscription.
